I have been a Professor of Music at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance since 2000 & have also taught at Goldsmith’s College. I regularly run workshops for the Cambridge Jazz Cooperative & have also taught at workshops for Richmond Adult Education Centre & the Oxford Jazz Festival.
I also teach privately. Please contact me for details.
Topics for workshops include jazz harmony, jazz phrasing, the construction of melodies within improvisation, jazz history & how the music business works (including advice on funding, promotion & music production) along with other issues that come up along the way. People tell me I’m a motivational teacher.
